I am committed to listening to and honoring your story, and to helping you rewrite it as you are ready. There are pieces to everyone’s story that either do not need to be changed or cannot be changed. But if you are seeking therapy, you are aware on some level that something in your life is not working for you. You might need a listening ear and someone to be with you as you are with acceptance and strength for your journey. Or you might be ready to dig deeper – to work on changing patterns that no longer serve you by integrating your past into your present with compassion and clarity so that a different future is possible. By telling your story, healing can begin.
I work with clients who are experiencing:
- self-esteem issues
- transition/life changes
- depression
- anxiety
- pregnancy
- pregnancy after a loss
- postpartum concerns and perinatal mood disorders
- parenting
- parenting after a loss
- relationship issues
- grief and loss – specifically babyloss
- couple therapy
Investment:
Individual sessions are 60 minutes long (not the usual 50 minutes you often find in the therapy world).
For couples, the first session can range from 1- 2 hours, depending on your availability. After that we will decide how long future sessions will be. Future sessions are usually 1 to 2 hours.
Individual sessions are $140/hour.
Couple sessions are $155/hour.
I accept cash, check or credit card and payment is expected at time of service.
I do not accept insurance but can provide with you a receipt for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement as an “out of network” provider.
If cost is a barrier for you, let me know and we can talk about the possibility of reduced fee as I reserve a limited number of spots for reduced fee clients.
* You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
• You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
• Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
• If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
• Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call the Colorado Division of Insurance at 303-894-7490 or 1-800-930-3745.
